how to cook Parmentier (French recipe ) recipe

ingredients:


    
8-10 potatoes nice size
    
400 grams of minced meat
    
15 centiliter heavy cream
    
100 grams of Parmesan
    
20 grams of butter
    
herbs
    
salt and pepper




Preparation:


  1. Peel the potatoes, rinse and immerse them in a saucepan. Cook for about twenty minutes. 
  2. Meanwhile , fry over low heat , ground meat with a little olive oil, a chopped onion and  parsley .
  3. Salt, pepper and sprinkle a cup of water to maintain the softness of the meat.
  4. The cooked potatoes , mash them , adding a little of the cooking water and cream. 
  5. In a buttered baking dish , alternate thin layer of mashed potatoes and mince . Add the Parmesan , then a final layer of mashed potatoes. Sprinkle with remaining Parmesan and season once more if necessary.
  6. Bake at 200 ° for 30 minutes at mid-height and serve immediately.

Finally ... Cook the potatoes with a sage leaf and add the grated nutmeg in mashed potatoes. A variant of the classic hash : Replace the beef with a mixture veal / chicken tarragon statement . A delicious and simple recipe at a time that promises to delight young and old lovers.
