Ingredients :
600 g cauliflower into florets
500g minced lamb 2 cubes of mutton
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 medium onion or 125 g , sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced , 1 medium green pepper into pieces
4 medium potatoes , cut into cubes and cooked
1 tablespoon tomato paste
2 medium tomatoes or 300 g, peeled and sliced
½ tablespoon of seven spices
1 cup water or 250 ml
2 cups vegetable oil for frying
½ cup or 125 ml milk, 2 tablespoons butter
1 cup mozzarella cheese or 100 g, grated
a pinch of white pepper
a pinch of salt
Preparation of cauliflower gratin with minced meat :
- To prepare the recipe for cauliflower gratin with minced meat :
- Heat the oil and fry until the cauliflower is golden in color. Remove and set aside on a towel to absorb excess oil.
- Form lamb chopped into small balls and place in a buttered oven dish , bake in a preheated oven at 200 ˚ C for 10-15 minutes or until they are cooked.
- In a medium saucepan , put to heat the olive oil and saute onion and garlic until softened , then add the green pepper and stir for 2 minutes. Add the tomato , the cubes are broth , tomato paste and seven spices. Stir for 5 minutes or until tomatoes are softened .
- Add water and prepared meat . Simmer for 10 minutes then add the cauliflower prepared . Mix and set aside .
- Mash potatoes with milk, butter, salt and pepper.
- Pour cauliflower in a baking dish and potatoes in the mixture .
- Sprinkle the cheese over the potatoes and bake in a preheated oven at 250 ˚ C for 15 minutes or until top is golden .
Serve the gratin cauliflower meat with green salad
