Ingredients:
- 3 dozen pastilla sheets.
- 150 grams fried and chopped.
- 4 egg whites beaten stiff.
Preparation:
- In a saucepan, prepare the custard according to recipe with cream pastilla (see here), then mix with almonds, egg whites, and cool.
- On each sheet of briouats (see "briouats" here) cut in half, remove the equivalent of a coconut cream edge, fold the two edge over and roll tightly to the end that you stick to the egg.
- Fry in hot oil until golden.
- Drain on paper towels. Present these golden brown dessert briouats.
Preparation time: 40 min.
Cooking time: 20 minutes.
