Briouats custard



Ingredients:



  • 3 dozen pastilla sheets. 
  • 150 grams fried and chopped. 
  • 4 egg whites beaten stiff.










 Preparation:



  1. In a saucepan, prepare the custard according to recipe with cream pastilla (see here), then mix with almonds, egg whites, and cool.
  2.  On each sheet of briouats (see "briouats" here) cut in half, remove the equivalent of a coconut cream edge, fold the two edge over and roll tightly to the end that you stick to the egg. 
  3. Fry in hot oil until golden. 
  4. Drain on paper towels. Present these golden brown dessert briouats.
 

Preparation time: 40 min.
Cooking time: 20 minutes.
