Diamond rice and almonds



Ingrédients

  • 12 sheets pastilla. 
  • 500 grams of rice. 
  • 1/2 liter of water. 
  • 200 grams of blanched fries and finely chopped almonds.  
  • 75 grams of sugar. 
  • 1 egg yolk. 
  • 1 packet of sugar vanullé.
  • 1/2 liter of milk.


Preparation:



  1. In a saucepan, boil water, milk, vanilla sugar, and add the rice. 
  2. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally until completely absorbed juice. 
  3. Incorporate almonds. Pour into a dish and let cool. 
  4. On a flat surface make a pastilla sheet folded in half, rounded side toward you, and then remove all of the rounded leaf rice mixture and almonds. 
  5. Roll up tightly to the end of the sheet to get a big cigar and paste with egg yolk. 
  6. And again on each pastilla sheets, then cut with scissors pieces measuring between 4 to 5 cm long, and through before frying in hot oil. 
  7. Present refined laminated and browned along with sugar and cinnamon


Preparation time: 20 min.
Cooking time: 10 minutes.
