Pastilla with custard

Ingredients:


  • 2 dozen sheets pastilla. 
  • 250 grams of peeled and fried almonds.

for the custard:

  • 4 egg yolks. 
  • 2 tablespoons flour. 
  • 4 tablespoons sugar. 
  • 1/2 liter of warm milk. 
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar.


Preparation: 




  1. In a saucepan, prepare the custard by mixing the egg yolks, flour, sugar and vanilla sugar. 
  2. Then pour over, turning with a spatula, milk. 
  3. Thicken over low heat, stirring constantly so as to obtain a smooth cream and set aside. 
  4. Quick browning in hot oil leaves pastilla pairs (glued together). 
  5. In a serving dish, place a double sheet of pastilla, spread over a large spoon custard, sprinkle with coarsely chopped almonds and continue to get them all done. 
  6. Garnish with a drizzle of caramel made ​​from sugar and water.



Preparation time: 10 min.
Cooking time: 10 minutes.
