ingredients:
- Golden yellow apples eight well
- 1 roll of puff pastry ( ready-made or homemade )
- 2 sachets vanilla sugar
- some cinnamon
- 100 grams butter
- 100 grams caster sugar
Preparation:
- Peel the eight golden apples whole . Cut in half and remove the core without breaking the halves. Slice into wedges about 1 centimeter .
- In a round pie pan nonstick , melt over direct heat butter.
- Add the flat end of the sugar, and reduce heat to a caramel.
- Arrange apples reconstructed crown flat, put one or two in the middle.
- Flatten with a spatula occasionally , apples are poached in caramel , which should not be black, but just golden.
- Sprinkle apples with vanilla sugar and cinnamon.Out all the heat and cover with puff pastry and press it around the edges.
