Berber tagine

Yum ... a taste of the country that takes us !

Ingredients :

  •  1 kg lamb 
  •  3 red onions 
  •  3 potatoes 
  •  2 carrots 
  •  2 turnips 
  •  2 tomatoes 
  •  2 courgettes 
  •  1 teaspoon coffee ginger 
  •  1 teaspoon pepper 
  •  1 dose of saffron 
  •  bark of 2 lemons 
  •  a drizzle of olive oil 
  •  candied green olive
  • salt and pepper

Preparation of Berber tagine :


To prepare the Berber tagine recipe :

  1. In a tagine , brown the pieces of meat in a little olive oil with finely chopped onion. Season with pepper , pepper, ginger, saffron and salt. Sprinkle with water and cook 45 minutes . 
  2. Meanwhile wash the vegetables , peel . Cut the onions , potatoes in lengthwise , zucchini into quarters lengthwise, carrots and turnips.
  3. Arrange the vegetables domed on the meat , sprinkle with the olive oil and cook for 30 minutes net to fire very sweet .
  4. Serve hot in the tagine dish .
