Pasta gratin with ham

Very good flat bottom drawer or Sunday evening

ingredients:

  •  250 grams of spaghetti (or other) 
  •  12-15 centiliter heavy cream 
  •  25 centiliter milk 
  •  2-3 slices of ham 
  •  grated cheese 
  • 1 onion 
  •  1 tablespoon flour 
  •  nutmeg 
  •  pepper 
  •  1 clove of garlic

Preparation:

  1. Cut the ham into small squares and finely chop the onion . Sweat the onion in a little butter ( incorporating a little oil to prevent the butter from burning ) . Meanwhile, boil water for pasta . 
  2. Then sprinkle the onions with a little flour (usually the value of a tablespoon ) to absorb the fat. Cook until biscuit smell emerges ( make a roux ) . Lower the heat and the temperature of the plate and then add the milk, mix well and add the cream . Mix again, grate a little nutmeg on all pepper. Meanwhile, when the pasta water boils, plunge the spaghetti for 6 minutes.
  3. Add ham to prepare , mix , then add the Gruyeres : the amount is that it takes for the mixture becomes a little sticky. 
  4. Once the sauce and pasta ready, rub a clove of garlic on a baking dish and pour the pasta and pour the sauce right . Sprinkle with grated cheese and broil all under the broiler (be careful , watch out )
