ingredients:
- 1.5 kilograms potatoes with firm flesh
- 200 grams Roquefort
- 75 grams butter
- 1 liter of evaporated milk
- 6 egg yolks
- 4 tablespoons heavy cream
- 1 onion
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 2 sprigs of thyme
- salt and pepper
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 180 ° C ( gas mark 6 ) . Peel the potatoes , wash them , dry them and cut them into very thin slices . Peel and chop the garlic and onion.Put the egg yolks with the condensed milk in a large bowl . Add the heavy cream, crumbled Roquefort , garlic and onion, thyme leaves and potatoes. Salt, pepper and mix well. Butter a baking dish or ramekins with some butter, pour in the mixture with potatoes in it, sprinkle the remaining nuts butter , cover with aluminum foil and bake for about 1:30 . After an hour , remove the foil so that the top can broil , serve very hot .
